The Style Files: The Bee Hive
In the 1960’s the emergence of “the girl group” was sweeping the nation, and along with musical talent they also brought a whole lot of style to the table. Among these girl groups were those such as The Ronettes, The Marvelettes, and The Shangri-La’s, and most of the time the ladies could be seen sporting the oh so hip beehive. A hairstyle that I’ve rapidly fallen for and become completely envious of those who can re-create it on themselves. I really want to throw some extensions in my hair so I could give it a try on myself.
