Beginning in the late 1930′s (and spanning over the course of 45 years) photographer Bruce Mozart created a project entitled “The Life Aquatic”, a collection that featured daily life happening underwater. Located in Silver Springs, Florida, the project was done to show off the amazing clarity of the water, and in turn they put the city on the map as one of Florida’s premier attractions.
These photographs make me fall in love with the state of Florida all over again, and it also makes me wish I was a mermaid or that I could live in an underwater world safely. Aren’t they so dreamy?
