Also, how awesome is this website Ex Playboy Bunnies? It’s got the history of the bunnies, old bunny photos with bios and it’s also a place where they can go to connect and organize meet ups. So neat! It’s funny to see how the hair and makeup styles have changed throughout the decades.

So, I don’t have cable which means I’m a slave to the wonderful world of Netflix. I’m constantly on the hunt for things to watch that I don’t have to actually “watch” persay. You know what I mean? I just need noise in the background. What’s that you say? Put on music? No thanks. It’s just not the same. Anyways!

So the other night I’m in the middle of the hunt and while looking for some romcom, Whitney Cumming’s Money Shot appears. So I’m like alright, well I like Janeane Garofalo and Anjelah Johnson, I’ll give it a watch. Like I said, I don’t have cable so stop trying to issue me a late pass on WC.

Needless to say, I’m pretty sure we’re soulmates. (Sorry Anjelah Johnson, you just got moved down to position #2) Basically, she had me at Twilight. Oh and talking about how crazy women are. We all like to pretend like we’re not, but seriously. We are.

When she met Robert Pattinson on Jay Leno, pretty magical.

P.S. Apparently she has a show coming out this Fall called Whitney…girl don’t let me down.

When it comes to Ghost World, I’m absolutely obsessed. I’ve got an array of trinkets all around my house, and I can never get enough of watching the film.  I’m actually thinking about purchasing the special edition book for my birthday this year.  So while in Fashion La La land I decided to take a little step into my e-time machine to look back on Luella’s (RIP) SS08 Collection, one of the best tributes to Ghost World.

I still cannot believe that Luella is no longer a design house,  definitely one of the sadder things to happen to the industry with this  failing economy. I will treasure my Luella for Target pieces forever.

Once upon a time, I had the most perfect straight bangs ever, but at some point I decided to style them to the side, and now they’ve grown out entirely. However now I’m completely and wholeheartedly missing them. I know its summer time out, and the humidity will totally be a bitch when it comes to maintaining them. But I feel so naked without them. What’s a girl to do? I guess until the temperature drops I’ll just mourn their loss and yearn for the day that they can come back.

P.S. – I also really miss my extensions and I have major plans of bringing them back.

New York City is home to many talented and oh so stylish females, and I wish I could name ‘em all off, but for now I’ll just focus on the duo known as Nina Sky. Made up of two identical twin sisters, Nicole and Natalie Albino, the girls have been performing and creating music since childhood. Much like their sound, the girls’ style is eclectic and undefinable by any fashion “genre”. This is something I can relate to and one of the reasons I’m totally swooning over their look.  From bodycon dresses to jumpsuits and varsity jackets, their isn’t a style these two can’t rock. In addition to wardrobe choices, their short hairdos are absolutely to die for. I wish I had the courage to do it up with the bowl cut. Can’t get enough of these two, I hope to see them live at some point in the near future.

Absolutely loving the site Into The Gloss, it’s all about one of my favorite topics — beauty! Fashion insiders discuss their favorite products, daily routines and inspirations, as well as, top specialists share their tricks and tools of the trade. I think my favorite part of the site is the section that explores backstage photos from various fashion shows, so magical!

This is probably a little swimfan like but I just can’t help it. . . I adore writer Lesley Arfin’s two toned hair. I wish I could get this look but sadly blonde really isn’t my thing, so maybe I’ll just keep it two tone with a bit of blue. Oh and if you haven’t checked out her book yet, do yourself a favor and pick up a copy: Dear Diary.
