By now you must now that I’m absolutely addicted to shopping, whether it’s online or in person, I just can’t get enough. However, my wallet doesn’t always seem to agree with me. Regardless, on a daily basis I’m constantly coming across dreamy shops that I’d love to splurge on, but can’t so instead of having a massive folder of bookmarked shops, I’m going to start sharing them with all of you. So maybe you can do a bit of shopping and then I’ll just live vicariously through all of you. (I also accept gifts….Ha!)
For the first “Shopping Around” post, I’m sharing the Summerland shop. There is only a handful of items in the shop right now, but I’m completely swooning over a large portion of them. I’ve especially got my eye on the Sorceress dress and the “Eat a Dick” necklace. So vulgar right? I think that’s why I love it.

It always brightens up my day when my readers/tweeples share brands with me that they think I’ll enjoy. And honestly, 99.9% of the time, they’re on point. The only downside to these suggestions is that it doesn’t help my shopping problems. Ah well, what can you do?
As most of you should know by now, I’m a full supporter of the tights/leggings as pants movement, so I’m always on the lookout for new pairs. Yesterday, San shared a link with me to a super adorable tights company, Les Queues de Sardines. It was love at first sight.

Based in Normandie, Les Queues de Sardines offers a variety of humorous & quirky tights created by Marion & Oliver. Each pair of tights is hand screen-printed, and produced in small quantities. Recently they designed a limited edition collection entitled, “Monster Legs”, that I absolutely adore.

Although the price points are a bit high for me, I did find some pairs on sale at Colette. I think I’ll be adding one more item to my 2010 Goal List – wear more amusing tights. Like the Piret Ilves pair, these have also inspired me to do some fun DIY tights. Have you seen any cute printed tights lately?
