Growing up I was always mystified by the powerful workings of the Ouija Board. I’d have sleepovers with friends and we’d mess around with it, which usually ended in a screaming fit of “You’re moving it!” Til this day I still believe there is something spooky hiding within the Ouija Board and I absolutely adore jewelry inspired by this ghostly treasure. My favorite jewelry designer that creates Ouija inspired pieces is Blood Milk, and one day I plan on owning one of her planchette rings.

Finally….September is here. It’s like a breath of fresh air rolling in after a hot sticky summer. (Well technically it’s still hot and sticky here in Florida, but I felt it getting slightly cooler yesterday morning.) Although my birthday is in August, I can’t lie, I love September more. It’s the sign of Fall approaching, Fashion Week, and the best magazine issues of the year.

I cannot wait for all the runway shows to begin tomorrow. I’m hoping that a lot of the designers will be doing livestreams of their shows.

September also means that it’s time to watch the IFB Con via livestream. (Fingers crossed that I get to attend next year.) This time of year always makes me want to stop and look back on my blogging and make some changes. If you are not familiar with IFB, you should join on and start interacting. I’ve met some of my favorite bloggers on there and its a wonderful resource. I’m actually going to spending time on there over the next week to help myself implement some changes and get back to where I started with blogging. I’ll be expanding more on that in my next post.

So many September issues to tackle, so little time. Those are only a handful of the ones that I have stacked up on my desk waiting to be attacked.
