Today is the day! It is my half birthday!! Some of you are probably thinking that I’m crazy for celebrating this, but my mom has always done it for us since we’re kids. I think it’s pretty awesome.  So for my mini birthday I bought myself a mini present. I’ve been lusting after bubblegum pink lips for quite some time now but just never got around to buying. So I went and purchased the Lady Gaga MAC Viva Glam Lipstick, totally in love with it!

The weekend was lovely. Saturday afternoon was spent at the Indie Craft Bazaar. You can read my mini recap & view pictures of the Happy House Vintage table on the blog. Valentine’s Day was wonderful, lots of Hello Kitty surprises and treats.  And now it’s time to get back to reality. New York Fashion Week is in full swing and I’ll be talking about that over at LadyLike. I’m pretty excited to watch the live stream of Rodarte’s collection today. Have you fallen in love with any of the collections so far? As always I adore Betsey Johnson, but honestly I’m not swooning over anything just yet.

So having another blog is going to get a bit hectic which is why I’m on the lookout for some writers for the Happy House Vintage blog. All that info can be found here. I’m so excited about life right now!

I was trying to come up with some sort of cute category name for these sort of daily life what I’m up to posts, but it’s just not coming to me. Ah well…maybe one of you can help me think of something?

Things have been pretty busy with the addition of school in my life, but I’m absolutely loving it. I’ve particularly become very fond of my Sociology class, not just because my professor is cute, but I’m really diggin’ what the science is all about. I also think that taking a few Sociology classes will be a great help for my future in writing.

As usual, I’m in turmoil over my hair, it’s gotten so unbelievably long and now I can’t decide what to do. After seeing images of Yulia, I’m thinking about chopping it into a bob. But then I know I’ll just be lusting after mermaid hair once the cut is done. Maybe I need to just leave the length and go for another asymmetrical cut. I’m forever tortured by my hair, does anyone else have these issues?
