Oh Neely. . . how I love thee. I felt like it was perfect to use a photo of her in this new feature on the blog. I’m still working out the kinks of this new direction in my blogging, as well as continuing to add new weekly features/categories. So bare with me.

Anyway! “Totally Addicted To…” will just be a weekly post about what I currently can’t get enough of that week. Ya know, books, movies, clothes, shoes, etc etc. Although I gave up booze, a girl needs to have some vices, right?

Books: I’m always reading a million books at once. Insanity, I know. I mean, not literally a million, that’d be obscene. I just re-read “Crackpot: The Obsessions of John Waters”, so hilarious. No surprise there. Also, reading “Love is a Mix Tape” by Rob Sheffield and “The Group” by Mary McCarthy. And I have this sudden desire to collect and read all the Sweet Valley High series again. I miss book series like that, they just don’t make ‘em like that anymore. (Wow, I sound like such an old person)

Television: While I don’t have cable TV, I do have Netflix & Hulu. And I do try to limit my television intake, but I’ve recently gotten really into that show Numb3rs. I know it’s old, but I also discover older shows on Netflix that I love. I’m really into crime dramas, so Numb3rs is right up my alley. It’s pretty funny that I like it considering I despise math. But, I cannot get enough of this show. Also, so in love with GIRLS. I wish the first season wasn’t over so quickly. I’ve already watched it twice.

Movies: Moonrise Kingdom is a given. I would have gone to see it a million more times.

Music: Lots of Jacuzzi Boys, Astronautalis, the Kills, Rolling Stones, and the Black Angels

Style: I know it’s cliche, but I’m so addicted to flower crowns. I haven’t worn any myself, but I’ve been making them. I just found the perfect white dress that will go perfectly with the daisy crown I just made. Yeah, a white dress! Can you believe it? I’m really into wearing all white nowadays. Also, moccasins. They’re so damn comfy. I found some really cute black bootie ones at Target the other day for $20!
